"For aviation enthusiasts, the prospect of flying from one major international airport to another in a 747, followed by a short hop to a smaller airport in a CRJ, might be a trip to look forward to. If however, you look at the other side of the coin and you are the CEO of a major organisation, who needs to get from one small city to another to negotiate a new business deal, the prospect of the above-mentioned flights might not be so appealing. This is where biz-jets come into play. Their ability to take off and land at smaller remote airstrips, and then cruise only slightly slower than the heavies, makes them an ideal alternative for the businessman in a hurry."
