Cloud9 strikes with two FSX products!

Cloud9

Cloud9 has been developing two new products, fully compatible with FSX: Orlando Intl. (KMCO) scenery and XClass Europe.

The cloud9 Xclass Europe improves in a considerable way the terrain of all of Europe, increasing the precision of how the terrains are visualised. The standard large, and even, areas of Flight Simulator X scenery are modified and are represented in greater detail. Furthermore, special terrain zones have also been added (e.g. industrial areas or saline areas along the coast lines) which normally aren't represented in the standard FSX scenery. With cloud9 Xclass improved designs have been applied accurately on more than 150.000 urban areas of Europe including towns with only a squared kilometre area. This allows to carryout much more accurate and realistic VFR flights.

The Orlando International Airport scenery for FS2004/FSX is currently in development by cloud9. It is modelled based on real ground and in-flight pictures, and features photographic textures; high-detail runways, taxiways and aprons; special effects and awesome night textures. The developer claims there's little FPS impact and that the scenery blends well with its surroundings. Check out a preview screenshot and read more about this scenery at cloud9's website.
