Cloud9 released today the Los Angeles International (KLAX) scenery for Flight Simulator 2004. This high quality project has been developed to reach two important goals: the maximum quality and detail level allowed by Microsoft Flight Simulator and the minimum possible impact on the frame rate. This product is available as a trial version to give to all users the possibility to test the scenery with full detail before purchase it.
The cloud9 Los Angeles International (KLAX) scenery is developed based on real ground and in-flight pictures and features photographic terrain textures, highly detailed buildings and runways, animations and special effects, realistic night effects and many other goodies. The popular Peter Dowson's FSUIPC module for FS2002/2004 has gotten a new version, FSUIPC 3.60. This version of FSUIPC embodies some major new facilities: it now provides support for a message window in the style of the in-built FS ATC window, making the Radar Contact software look much better; most of the tabs of the Options screen were renamed for better organization, AI Traffic is better managed and the international settings now works correclty. FSUIPC is a software that allows external programs to communicate with and perhaps control Microsoft Flight Simulator. Many freeware and payware add-on developers require FSUIPC to be installed for their softwares to function correctly or even function at all. Although all add-ons that require a FSUIPC registration will provide you free access to the basic features, you may also want to purchase a FSUIPC registration and have access to all of its potential. |

The islands of Malta, Gozo and Comino form the independent Republic of Malta, which is located in the center of the Mediterranean. The strategic location has been a blessing and a curse throughout history as it brought prosperity through trade and violence because many nations fought over it. Malta International Airport has been operating for over 50 years and the growth of tourism expanded the airport to handle approx 2.8 million passengers and 30.000 aircraft movements.
The Islands of Malta scenery is developed by Sim-Wings in their usual very high quality and adds another fine European destination to your flights. The scenery covers the whole island with accurate mesh, landclass and coast lines -- the Malta Airport features animated hangar doors. More information and purchase details are available at the Aerosoft website.
