It was announced today that the long awaited Captain Sim's 'Legendary Herk' was entered final beta testing stage. The product includes high resolution model, virtual cockpit, 2D panel, interior views, sounds and systems - it will be tested during this week by professionals and enthusiasts to ensure its high functionality and reliability. After almost a year without any news, or updates, Melvin Rafi previews his two upcoming projects for FS2004. He's currently working on the Fourth Version of his acclaimed B747-400, and is under Research & Development for future panels, in which the gauges will be compatible with both the B747-400 and the B777 Series. Wilco has just released an upgrade for its A380 add-on based on costumer feedback - other upgrades may follow in the future.
Updated features :
 Re-worked auto-throttle system: Handles the autothrust system perfectly, even if the throttle device generates spikes. This new system has been validated with a multiple throttle device (CH Throttle Quadrant) in order to be able to manage each engine separately. This is perfect for engine out procedure training.- Improved Radio Tuning Units (RTU): Like in the real aircraft, the RTUs now allow you to enter the VOR1, VOR2 and ILS course.
- Updated flight model: The maximum landing gear extension/retraction has been increased to 210 knots for optimal approach
- The LOC and G/S modes are now correctly displayed on the Flight Mode Annunciator (FMA) during instrument approaches.
