THINGS-TO-COME has just annouced the completion of their highly antecipated add-on: LunarPilot! It features a complete package of aircraft, scenery and documentation, including a realistic reproduction of the Lunar Landing Research Vehicle, used by NASA to train Apollo astronauts for lunar descent and landing. The scenery is set in the 1960’s and includes a complex city, functional runway, and the Lunar Terrain Simulator (LTS) with 1000 sqyards of moonscape at a resolution of 25cm/pix. Cloud9 has announced the release date for their new Schiphol scenery: Tuesday, August 23. To celebrate the release, a fly-in will be hosted by DutchVACC, featuring a fully staffed Schiphol airport from 1730 to 2030 UTC. This event will happen on VATSIM on the evening of the release day, giving users the opportunity to explore the area, with or without the scenery. For more information, please visit DutchVACC. |

It was announced today that the long awaited Captain Sim's 'Legendary Herk' was entered final beta testing stage. The product includes high resolution model, virtual cockpit, 2D panel, interior views, sounds and systems - it will be tested during this week by professionals and enthusiasts to ensure its high functionality and reliability. After almost a year without any news, or updates, Melvin Rafi previews his two upcoming projects for FS2004. He's currently working on the Fourth Version of his acclaimed B747-400, and is under Research & Development for future panels, in which the gauges will be compatible with both the B747-400 and the B777 Series.
