Congratulations, JetBlue!
Thursday, 22 September 2005

A JetBlue Airways A320, carrying 139 passengers, has just made a successful emergency landing at LAX. The aircraft had a landing gear problem soon after takeoff as the nose gear was turned sideways and struck. They have burned fuel over the ocean for over 2 hours in order to make the airplane lighter and finally landed. The nose gear caught fire during the landing, but the crew managed to stop the aircraft safely. All people on board are alive and there are no reported injuries. Congratulations to the crew for such an amazing landing!
